Actually, I wanted to start a new kind of diary entries with a new subject. The subject should have been cooking for dinner or making breakfast, all that to enrich my vocabulary for everyday English. But now, two other points came to my mind: the first one is that I have the opportunity to listen to my lovely book The Echo Chamber by a natural reader. It is wonderful, it’s amazing, it’s like a new book compared to reading it by myself or listening to an artificial reader. The other point is this new Artificial Intelligence program created and enrolled by a small Chinese startup, and this one has scrambled the AI world, especially of course, the Western AI world. Today, the stock market went down, especially the well-known stock of NVIDIA. This surprising AI has a big advantage compared to OpenAI and the other AI systems, because it’s much cheaper in creating the knowledge base and also in daily executing. “Much cheaper” means, it’s below 10% of the other systems and it could reduce heavily mass-production of the very expensive chips.
