A little shorter

What have I done all this day? I am a little confused and have to organize my memory first. I think I started this with a lot of listening to a story, and after that, I listened to a podcast about learning English. I could follow it fluently without subtitles or any other help. Then, after breakfast, I followed, as usual, my exercises: ergobiking again, 10 minutes this time, hip muscle strengthening, Feldenkrais. I couldn’t spend so much time on it because I had to go on my daily stroll before I had to wait for a handyman who wanted to check our defective kitchen oven, which is gas-powered for cooking and baking. When I was walking, I was listening to another podcast about speaking English fluently. Very interesting. He gives me a lot of hints that you can apply to get used to speaking fluently.

Now I try to repeat some of his suggestions: reading aloud, shadowing, mirroring (looking in the mirror while speaking), talking with other people, talking with yourself, recording your speech, playing roles, and perhaps some other techniques. When this podcast ended, I started speaking to myself, but after a few minutes, I stopped because speaking and walking with pain don’t match very well. I listened to another story about the fate of a man who talked about his marriage, the disaster of this partnership, getting depressed, and finding a new partner with whom he successfully mastered serious challenges.

Then, completely senselessly, I wasted my time testing Duolingo again. Before starting this writing, I tested my ability to decide between perfect and imperfect again. Once more, I made errors while filling out the kitchen story developed by ChatGPT for me. Nevertheless, I let ChatGPT develop another story for me and perhaps for Luisa. That’s all for today.
