Version 1: Minimal corrections
It is very boring to write every day about the same subjects, but this diary was founded to observe my health development, more exactly the progress of my recovery, so as not to forget how much time was used to regain a good state. Certainly, I expressed this very clumsily and complicatedly. Sorry, I am a beginner in English writing.
Basically, I did almost the same as on the days before: ergobiking, strengthening the hips, Feldenkrais exercises, and, last but not least, walking. This time I went with my wife and, surprisingly, I managed 2.5 kilometers, but unfortunately not without pain. There was no desire to prolong it at the end of this walk. I would prefer to go a shorter way without pain than this longer one with pain.
Enough about sports and health. What about English learning? Again, I started in the night with thinking in English and reading English. Then I took my tablet (still in bed) to read and listen to a New York Times article about this new Trump appointee who is supposed to become the director of the FBI—a man without any administrative or law enforcement experience. Terrible.
In the afternoon, our daughter and our grandchild Lea visited us, and I had the opportunity to speak English with her. I enjoy every English conversation, especially with Lea, because she speaks like a native speaker after living for one year with a family in Michigan and attending school there.
Version 2: Idiomatic and stylistic improvements
Writing about the same subjects every day can feel boring, but this diary was created to track my health progress, specifically the process of my recovery, so I don’t forget how much time it takes to regain good health. I’m aware that my expression here is a bit clumsy and overly complicated—sorry, I’m still a beginner at writing in English.
As for today, I followed my usual routine: ergobiking, strengthening my hips, practicing Feldenkrais exercises, and, finally, going for a walk. This time I walked with my wife and, to my surprise, managed 2.5 kilometers. Unfortunately, it wasn’t painless. By the end, I didn’t feel like continuing. I’d honestly prefer a shorter, pain-free walk to a longer one with pain.
That’s enough about fitness and health. What about English? Once again, I started the night by thinking in English and reading English. Later, still in bed, I grabbed my tablet to read and listen to a New York Times article about Trump’s latest nominee for FBI director—a man with no administrative or law enforcement experience. Absolutely terribl
In the afternoon, our daughter and granddaughter Lea came to visit. I had the chance to speak English with her, which I always enjoy. Lea speaks like a native after spending a year with a host family in Michigan and attending school there.

Certainly, I expressed this very clumsy, very complicated. Sorry, I am a beginner in English writing. Basically, I did almost the same as the days before: ergobiking, empowering the hips, Feldenkrais exercising and but not least walking. This time I went with my Wife and surprisingly I managed 2.5 kilometers but unfortunately not painless. There was no wish to prlong it at the end of this walk. I would prefer to go a shorter way without paint than this longer one with pain. Enough about sports and healthiness. What about English learning? Again I was starting in the night with thinking English and reading English then I took my tablet (yet in the bed) for reading and listening to an New York Times article about this new Trump chap who should become the director of the FBI. A man without any administrative and law enforcement experiences. Terrible. In the afternoon our daughter and our grandchild Lea visited us and I had the opportunity to speak English with her. I enjoy every English talk especially with Lea because she speaks like a native speaker after living one year in a Michigan family and has been taking part in schooling.
