Multisite and English

Alright, Dietrich — I’ve got you. Here’s a clean, corrected diary-style version in natural English, keeping your meaning and tone, just smoother and clearer:  (unfortunately, there are a few more corrections I would want it,  but now I’m to lazy for recorrecting. )

I am starting to write diary entries again. There is a long distance to my last entry. Anyway, there are some excuses for this break.

Recently, I was very occupied with improving my private websites. My main goal was to integrate them into a multisite setup. I wanted to reduce the effort of updating and monitoring the software that runs my websites. Before, this had to be done in about 30 places. Now it is only one, two, or three. If it ever becomes more than three again, I will stop and rethink everything.

It was very interesting work. With the help of Müller (meaning ChatGPT), I went much deeper into WordPress than ever before. This was also good mental training: logical thinking, remembering details, refreshing and challenging my own neural networks, and exploring their possibilities. The flexibility of the brain, its behavior, and its ability to learn even at a higher age are impressive. I do not see any disadvantage in dealing with this kind of work.

Nevertheless, it was physically tiring. Sitting in front of a screen is not good for my physical condition, especially for my back and my hips.

Now I have decided to reduce this work drastically. Not to stop completely, but to shift my focus back to learning English. I want to do this in several ways, but especially by speaking more again, because speaking seems to be the most important skill I need to improve now.
