My walk yesterday was accompanied by my grandchild Lea. It was a long walk, but not as long as the walk before. I was a little exhausted, so I was afraid of a long walk. All the time we were speaking English, and it was refreshing for me, for my legs, as I was distracted from my pain. At the beginning, we were speaking about the situation in the United States, because she has the intention to travel to the United States. But it seems rather dangerous to undertake this journey because of the situation when entering the States. There are a lot of people who have been imprisoned for some days or some weeks. I tried to convince my lovely Lea not to visit the U.S. this year. She should avoid it at this point in time, in order not to get into danger. There are experiences which nobody has to live through. Especially, it’s not necessary to make such experiences at these young years. She just seemed to agree with me, and after that we were speaking about her travel to Luxembourg, and about her encounter with an old man. He was asking her about her life, and was speaking about his life. It was very exciting for Lea to meet such an old guy – older than me, he was about 88 – and he does his daily walk, and looks for people who seem to be interesting for him, and starts talking with them to have a funny day.
