Dealing with technical hobbies like building up flashcard sets – more or less automatically – prevents me from intensifying English learning. This is the danger; this is my impression. Late in the evening, I realized I hadn’t written down a new diary entry – just like yesterday. In any case, it is big fun to exercise with the self-created flashcards. But would it help me in my English acquisition process? After intensive training, I was reading my book further and was feeling more and more comfortable with it. My reading fluency was increasing steadily. Now I will enter my bed with the hope that I will continue this way until I fall asleep.
