I found a new, marvellous app for English and other language learning, or better said, acquiring. This app is based on AI, and I think the real basis is ChatGPT. It is elegantly transformed into a language acquisition app, and in the beginning, you can use a free version, which is fully usable, and you can test all features. I had a very long conversation about language acquisition and politics, especially Donald Trump’s new policies. But I had the impression it was not very up-to-date. The questions and remarks are Eliza-like, but it doesn’t matter. The problem is, I want to speak, and I want to react, and I want to understand, and so on. I am far from recognizing all features of the system, and there are a lot of special learning features, but also the possibility to look for special videos and to add your own content into this app for analyzing the language and listening to the content. But I have to see in the next few days what is possible in this case. I am very excited. It’s a real gem among language-learning apps.
