Fun and politics without fun

I was riding in the town, in the center of the town, with the metro and bus, and then I had a meeting with my old friend J.. We were sitting for two or more hours in a restaurant, had a not-so-nice meal, but very long discussions about God and the world. But before that, we were walking through the Nikolai Quarter, and I was looking for some little presents for the birthday of U.. And I think I found something suitable—two thin scarves, hopefully suitable for her pullover.

In the morning, I had a ride in my car to a parcel station, catching a non-delivered parcel for us. After some meters with the car, suddenly, the radio started to read aloud my lovely book, The Echo Chamber. It was so surprising! But on the other hand, understandable too, because the phone connected with my car radio. And in that moment, the audiobook started too. But I don’t know exactly why it started, but it doesn’t matter. It was nice. I had something to listen to, and it was very good and understandable in the car.

In the evening, I read a big article about the problems of American democracy.

There are suspicions that the guys around Musk and, of course, Trump are going to destroy American democracy and build up a new kind of dictatorship. The dictator has to be an experienced CEO of the industry, and Trump should only play the role of a supervisory president, as I would call it. After the experiences of the Munich conference with Vice President Vance, I can say: there is nothing that can surprise me anymore.

No sports today, besides walking to the bus and in the town.
