It is the first time I’m writing these notes by hand, as I used to do for my German diary entries. I plan to dictate them later to improve my pronunciation and intonation and, of course, to produce a typed version after correcting many misinterpreted words and phrases.
What have I done so far this morning? I started with English exercises. First, while still in bed, I read an article from The New York Times. The article dealt with reforms proposed by Elon Musk and others to reconstruct the federal administration, aiming to save approximately 2.3 billion dollars.
Afterwards, I listened to Brave New World, repeating it sentence by sentence and later paragraph by paragraph. I now have the impression that my pronunciation is slowly improving.
Next, I moved on to my physical exercises. I used my ergobike for 20 minutes, then focused on strengthening my hips—hopefully effectively—followed by about an hour of Feldenkrais exercises. Unfortunately, I couldn’t go for a stroll immediately afterwards because it was raining. So, I took the opportunity to write this entry for my diary.
Later, I started my walk, assuming the rain had stopped—but it hadn’t.

I was rather surprised that I could complete this walk despite the rain and wind, and without a cane.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t go to stroll immediately after that, because it was raining, so I took the opportunity to write this post for my diary.
Later, I start my walk, have assumed the rain has finished, but it wasn’t.
