Perhaps I am insane. Now I am starting a new pronunciation program – the app BoldVoice. This program is based on artificial intelligence, and I can’t tell if some of the speakers are natural or artificial. I will work on pronunciation until exhaustion. I’ll think what I’m saying is wrong, but I’m convinced my teachers are right and I am wrong, because this program seems to be the best I’ve tried so far.
It’s quite a big challenge for me to master it, and I’m not sure I’ll manage. It’s a tough and intense program for me, and every time I repeat it, sometimes it gets better, sometimes worse. Then I try again—sometimes it improves, sometimes it doesn’t. But in the end, I have no choice: I want to speak English not only fluently, but with an accepted accent and clear pronunciation. Otherwise, I won’t accept the way I speak English.
