I see, I forgot to report my experiences with the method learning English – or more general – learning languages with the help of Netflix. I picked up a film called The Judge and tried to repeat, to hear, to listen to, to speak along with, to speak with subtitles, to speak without subtitles, and repeat one short scene of about seven minutes. It was a very strenuous job. It needs just much more effort than I thought, and I think this method looks like a little more problematic and more time-wasting than expectable. Maybe, I’ll try a repetition with a shorter scene in order to see if it is much quicker to handle, but I don’t figure it’s a solution of my comprehension problem. It could be a good solution for my speaking problems, but I assume that this is only a matter of vocabulary, not of being able to speak intelligibly with any guys who speaks English, inclusively such ones whose native language is English.
